Grids, lattices, and panels from aluminium foam – the perfect design element for interiors and facades

Quick facts: The benefits of choosing aluminum grids and panels of aluminum foam and expanded aluminum for your project

The solutions in the series are a particularly preferred means of designing interiors and facades thanks to the fact that they combine a number of advantages, among which:

  • Light material that doesn’t stress the surface it is mounted on
  • Durability, reliability and resistance to deformation
  • Anti-corrosion properties
  • Resistance to aggressors from the external environment and atmospheric conditions, including wind of up to 260 km/h
  • A wide range of designs and color options
  • Customizability – we offer the option to produce the elements as per the individual requirements of each project
  • 100% recyclable
  • Sound absorbing properties
  • Incombustibility

What are aluminum foam grids and aluminium panels?

The solutions are characterized by a visually striking design and bring a modernist and futuristic look to every interior premise or facade. The aluminium panels product range offers two models:

  • Open on both sides – these solutions bring a higher degree of transparency and allow more light to penetrate the interior while still preserving the element of privacy
  • Open on one side – the one-sided open aluminium panels come as a more solid structure, suitable for designs of walls and structures intended to separate the interior premise into two or more and where the penetration of light is not a firm requirement

The aluminum foam lattices and panels can be produced with a custom material density. Thanks to this, solutions can be produced with different degree of durability and cell size. Currently, we offer three variations – small, medium and large cells.

Depending on the structure of the detail, it can also act as a canopy, reducing or completely stopping the penetration of light, thereby reducing the heat in the premises and the costs needed to cool the building.

Application of the aluminum grids and aluminium foam panels and lattices

From creating designer ceilings, custom accent elements or partition walls in the interior to designing entire facades, the aluminum grids and aluminum foam panels and lattices bring a unique feeling and aesthetics to each design project.

Another very effective method of their application in the interior is when lighting is installed in the back of the details.

The aluminum grids and aluminum foam panels can be used for many design project purposes, including:

  • Interior and facade design in residential buildings
  • Transformation of commercial and public areas – restaurants, shops, shopping centers, cinemas, etc.
  • Design of office spaces and conference rooms
  • Facade and interior design of hotels and holiday complexes
  • Design of advertising sites, booths, stands and displays

A wide range of color and design options bring you the freedom to customize the aluminium panels, grids, and lattices

The solutions are available with different options for decoration, such as with a natural aluminum coating in a standard silver color. In addition, they can also be powder-coated in a wide range of RAL colors.

Aluminum grids and aluminum foam panels are available in a standard size: 2000 x 1000 x 15 mm (+/- 3 mm), as well as with the possibility of customization based on individual size requirements according to the specifics of each project.

The size of the cells and bubbles themselves can vary between 15 and 25 mm.

What are the aluminium grids and aluminum foam panels made of?

Made from 100% recycled material, the aluminum grids and panels of aluminum foam and expanded aluminium cleverly combine eco-friendliness with a beautiful, eye-pleasing design.

During the production process, air is injected into a mixture of molten aluminum and a fine dispersion of ceramic particles. The purpose of these particles is to stabilize the air bubbles.

In this way, we can produce 100% unique designs, resembling the porous structure of a sponge, but made of durable and light metal.

The solutions are particularly easy to install and process. For example, they can be cut with an angle grinder or saw. And for more specific shapes (e.g., letters and inscriptions), we recommend laser or waterjet cutting.
